Yoga By Water incorporates one’s physical yoga practice of asana with their mental meditation practice of dhyana through the lens of water and wilderness. All workshops, studio or wilderness based, seek to enhance our physical and mental health while also expanding our spiritual practice. Yoga By Water wilderness trips center around a yoga curriculum that caters to all student ability levels and wilderness adventures that allow water’s language to convey yoga’s message: proceed as the way opens.
Classes and retreats center around self-inquiry, physical practice, and exploring the language of the body through the language and behavior of water. Each trip gives the participant the opportunity to disconnect from the mundane and mainstream and connect to nature and self. Through conscious mental and physical exercise, nutritious food, powerful connection with others, and deep examination of our place within nature, Yoga By Water classes and retreats allow us to explore self through the lens of water and to expand our personal practice upon reintegrating.
